Your chance to visit “The Gardens”

closeThis post was published 1 year 3 months 11 days ago and subsequent events - including the closure of the Gardens - may have affected its current relevance or accuracy. The post is however kept on this site to maintain a record of events of the time. Please do however check the bottom of the post; as there may be more recent or relevant posts there.

The gardens are being opened to local residents from 4pm – 8pm, this Wednesday, 13 April; so they can see progress and learn more about the future plans for the gardens.

The invitation is extended to the ‘Friends’ (essentially subscribers to our mailing list) and also to local residents. There will also be a couple of other open days in the coming months.

If you would like to visit on Wednesday; please RSVP Alison Baldwin at Coast Communications alison@coastcommunications.co.uk or Nicki Clark at enquiries@thegardensyalding.co.uk so they have an idea of numbers.

Unfortunately, we have been advised that the Gardens are no longer being managed organically – which was of course their whole reason for being and what made them unique in the area. It does however appear that there is an attempt to revert to the original planting plans; which many will welcome as at least a passing nod to the history of the site, if not the ethos.
