The gardens are being opened to local residents from 4pm – 8pm, this Wednesday, 13 April; so they can see progress and learn more about the future plans for the gardens.
The invitation is extended to the ‘Friends’ (essentially subscribers to our mailing list) and also to local residents. There will also be a couple of other open days in the coming months.
If you would like to visit on Wednesday; please RSVP Alison Baldwin at Coast Communications firstname.lastname@example.org or Nicki Clark at email@example.com so they have an idea of numbers.
Unfortunately, we have been advised that the Gardens are no longer being managed organically – which was of course their whole reason for being and what made them unique in the area. It does however appear that there is an attempt to revert to the original planting plans; which many will welcome as at least a passing nod to the history of the site, if not the ethos.
